In this section, you will find:

So Much More For String Players. Conducted by an experienced string player, Southgate Symphony Orchestra can give you so much more. With a focus on producing a high standard through good editions of repertoire, well bowed and marked up, the Orchestra is now directed by Adrian Brown; a man with a considerable reputation as a professional conductor, a former student of Sir Adrian Boult, and someone who draws from his experience with the Berlin Philharmonic, BBC Symphony Orchestra and National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. So, if you're a string player that wants to play the major symphonic works, come along and join us to begin playing to a standard in an orchestra where other orchestras leave off. For 2 FREE rehearsals, it couldn't be more simple. Email contactus@southgatesymphony.co.uk or call the secretary on 020 8367 4688. Rehearsals: Wednesday 7:30-9:30pm, The Walker School Hall, Waterfall Road, Southgate, N14 7JN.
