We're recruiting for a new conductor, starting in September 2024. We're looking for someone with the ability and enthusiasm to get the best out of our friendly amateur orchestra, encouraging every player to play at their best while helping the orchestra to grow.

Our next concert takes place on 23rd March 2024 and will feature Mendelssohn's Overture 'Ruy Blas', Dvorak's Cello Concerto with soloist Kirsten Jenson, followed by Berwald's Sinfonie Singuliere

The Orchestra is open to amateur musicians on all orchestral instruments. There is currently space for strings, brass and percussion. Weekly rehearsals take place at St Andrew's Southgate. Read more...

The Orchestra is a registered charity, funded by our members and ticket sales. To enable us to continue to perform exciting programmes under a professional conductor and leader, we regularly apply for grants.
